CCAV is an incorporated body set up to represent the interests of licensed not-for-profit clubs in Victoria. CCAV is governed by a Board of Directors comprising:

Ian Johnson – Chairman

Ian is also Chairman of Channel 7 Melbourne, former President of Yarra Valley Country Club, former CEO of Crown Limited.

Leon Wiegard OAM – President

Leon has a long history of club involvement. He is AFL and Victorian Olympic Council Life member, Chairman of Victorian Olympic Club, former President of Fitzroy FC and Clubs Victoria. Inaugural Hall of Fame inductee, Victorian PGA.

Des Barnard

Board member and General Manager of St Albans Sports Club.

David Barnett

Currently an independent consultant. Previous roles have included GM of Gaming and Lotteries for Tattersall's, Senior Executive for Kraft South East Asia.

Jim McGrath

Board member and General Manager of The Hastings Club.

Neill Murray

CCAV Chief Operating Officer. Former Senior Tabcorp Executive. Life member, former President of Moorabbin Cricket Club, Mordialloc Tennis Club, Member of Cranbourne Golf Club.

Advisory Councils

Community Clubs Association of Victoria represents its member club interests through their feedback. In addition to our Board of Directors, our policy is also informed and developed by the following Specialist Advisory Councils:

• Gaming and/or Wagering Clubs Council.
• Volunteer-Based Clubs Council.
